Due to the luxurious nature of their rental properties, providing 24/7 access was integral to a positive guest experience, and managing a seaside-based portfolio came with its own unique set of environmental and operational challenges.

Overcoming Hardware Frustrations



Originally, Coastline relied on a mechanical key safe for key access and storage. However, due to the sand-and-salt filled location next to the sea, the key safe quickly showed how obsolete of a key management solution it was. 

Over time, key slots became entirely unusable, creating unnecessary frustrations for staff and guests alike. The mechanical key safe also lacked any kind of remote access capability, while needing frequent maintenance.
