How does it work?
Step 1
Drop off the key
Visit your local KeyNest Point - it's usually a 24/7 shop, cafe or hotel.
Step 2
The key gets tagged
KeyNest fob gets attached to the key for tracking and is logged into the system by the KeyNest Point staff.
Step 3
Share key access
The contractor, surveyor or staff member receives a notification about the key pickup, with instructions and a 6-digit code.
Step 4
The key is picked up
They pick up the key from a KeyNest Point using the code, while you receive a live update about the key status via the KeyNest App.

Do KeyNest Points work for Housing Associations?
Yes, the service has been designed with housing associations in mind. It’s easy to implement, doesn’t require any changes in the current key holding system, and works with any type of keys and doors. KeyNest is able to hold any number of keys in the Points, some of our clients use the service to securely hold tens of thousands of keys.
Is KeyNest secure?
Yes - our KeyNest Points are secure by design. Always stored anonymously, keys in our regular stores will only be handled by trained staff, and most locations have the security cameras installed too.
