Are KeyNest Points useful for a property management company like mine?

Yes, the service has been designed with property managers in mind. It’s easy to implement, doesn’t require any changes in the current key-holding system, and works with any type of key and door. KeyNest can hold any number of keys in the Points, some of our clients use the service to securely pass hundreds of keys a month.

Is KeyNest secure?

Yes - our KeyNest Points are secure by design! Always stored anonymously, keys in our regular stores will only be handled by trained staff, and most locations have security cameras installed too. You’ll also always be able to track the movements of your keys with our automatic notifications. Head over to our security section to find out more.

Can KeyNest save me money?

KeyNest saves our clients on average 75% in their access management costs. From commute costs, through staff time and misplaced keys and replaced locks, the cost savings work out to about hundreds of pounds per year per property.

How long does it take to set up KeyNest Point or a new key?

In case there’s no KeyNest Point nearby, let us know by filling up a form here. Once reviewed, we can set up a new location for you in 7-12 days. Setting up a new key takes seconds - just register the key on the platform in 3 clicks, leave it in the point and it will show up in the system the moment the shopkeeper scans it!

Once I’ve rented out a property, what can I do with my key?

You have 2 options. You can pick up the key from the Point and take it back to your office (just make sure to label it so it’s easy to find when you need). Or you can make it easier for your future operations and leave it stored in the Point - this way, in any case when the current key gets misplaced, or the tenant locks themselves out - you can ask them to pick the second key from the nearby Point. In this case, you are only charged a storage fee, which makes this option highly economical.
